Feeding and Nutrition :: Need Feeding Advice Please.

Ok, well i got 2 turtles, their both baby's and about a inch a inch 1/2 long (in shell), and i'm wondering if i'm over feeding them.
I'll put some food in the aquarium (like 25-30 pellets), then i'll come back in 30mins - 1hr and it's ALL gone, so i do that like every couple hours, am i over feeding them?

The general rule is to feed each turtle the amount of pellets that would fit in their head if it was hollowed out, once daily. That is for hatchlings. You can feed them as much greens a day that they will eat in addition to the pellets. Being that young they may not be that interested in the greens yet, but it's never to early to start. With two turtles I would feed them separately in a separate feeding container to make sure they each get their fair share. Be careful of overfeeding it can cause a lot of health problems.

So 3 or 4 pellets a day? Each? And one of the turtle steals the other turtles food lol, so seperate tank for that?

Maybe just a tupperware container. Put some of their tank water in it and put one in when he's done in goes the other. Then maybe leave some greens in their regular tank.

I have baby turtles too. Have had them for about five months. I feed them (three of them) in the tank and just watch and make sure each gets their share. They wont eat any vegitables either. I tried soaking them in tuna water but that hasn't worked either. They seem to be healthy just eating the pellets. They are about 2 to 2.5 inches and I feed them between 5 and 8 pellets each a day.

They will beg like puppies. Even when they are not hungry. Be strong. You can do it it's for their benefit. They may not eat veggies now but if they get hungry enough and you leave it in their tank, they will eat it.

I'm guessing here since I haven't seen your turtles but I'd say 5-6 a day each. So, make sure each one gets the amount they should.

once a day. Leave leafy greens in all the time.

Like lettuce yes. Just not iceberg lettuce. Mine likes red leaf lettuce. They may not eat it right away but when they become hungry enough they'll give it a try.
