eVERYTIMe i enter my room, my turtle freaks out... today after having it for over 2 weeks.... it begging for food [and i do feed it daily!!! ] and basking AND SPLASHING water around...at the same time...

I think its happiness :lol:

its happening NOW! :P

LOL I remember when mine started doing that. I also feed mine daily (lettuce and pellets) and trust me, soon you will be annoyed at them doing that lol...you will just be trying to watch them swim around and they will stop what there doing and just sit there trying to get to you...very annoying ... lol

Yeah, eventually the begging gets very, very annoying! Every time you go to feed them, the splash you, your hands, your face, the ground around the tank, and then you're trying to clean everything up with antibacterial cleaners when you are trying to get to work on time. I hate it when the splashes get on my face, the most.

My two RES not only beg for food but are also able to differiate their own food containers. However, my female will eat both types of food. They go crazy when they get a weekly treat of cooked shrimp or fish.

Oh Brother.... you need to issue some detention in your cafeteria hahah or else u will get in trouble at work hahahahaah

uhm.... im gonna clean que aquarium today.... i will have pictures of before and after uploaded once i finish everything...

I NEED A HEATER..AND UVB- NEXT MONTH PROBABLY... im squeezing to make the aquarium nice you know..... =)

i got the heater, uvb, etc... now i wanna build a basking area... or a duplex hehehe
