I don't know how old is my turtle, but i have it for 1 year.

What kind of insects should i give to my turtles. I heard that red eared sliders can eat crickets. Can it eat live or does it have to be canned crickets?

I give my turtle a live cricket once in a while, cause I have them around for my other pets. But they are just occational treats, not a staple food. most of their food should be pellets and some vegtables.

If you don't have other reptiles that are eating crickets, you can buy freeze dried ones (I found them in the turtle section of the pet store) that you can give one per month or so as a treat. Your turtle will also appreciate a bit of cooked fish (just without seasonings or oil), a piece of shrimp, or a feeder fish, but limit any of these to treats, with only one per month (and not one shrimp and one fish and one cricket, but one shrimp or one fish or one cricket).
