I feed in the morning because I figure that's best for their digestion. When their body temperature is lower they digest more slowly, and I like to know they have the whole day to bask and process their food.

I feed them pellets right after lunch 1:00 pm every other day. I feed vegies as soon as I wake up.

I don't have time to feed Roca in the morning (school) so I feed him in the afternoon, or night. On weekends it's usually random.

Pellets in the morning.

Sometimes lettuce or veggies in the afternoon.

And pellets at night.

The best time to feed them is earlier in the day so they can bask and digest their food in the afternoon. Starchick is correct - warmth aides their digestion.

I feed Sheba lettuce in the mornings before I go to work (just toss in tank....it doesn't mucky-up the water).

Pellets get fed every 2nd day, in the evenings around my dinnertime. I feed her in a separate pan of water and don't have time to feed her in the mornings either.

Mikey has a bunch of aquatic plants that he munches on constantly, but I feed him his pellets around lunch time.

I feed him veggies and a few pellets when I get up (which is usually around 10 or so) and then he gets a couple more pellets and sometimes a little krill later at night. He also has some anachris that he munches on, but usually he just plays with it and sleeps on it.

I feed in the morning, but if it's just a "veggie" day I sometimes also feed some romain, green leaf lettuce etc... in the evening if the begging starts getting so frenzied I start worrying whether I am underfeeding.

I feed pellets twice per week in the mornings

I feed some other kind of protein once every other week (live red wigglers, live rosy reds, frozen silversides, frozen krill) in the morning.

I think I used to overfeed protein when they were very young because they refused veggies totally and I was very uncomfortable starving them. Some pyramiding resulted. So I am very careful about protein now, but very generous with lettuces.
