It's getting close to time to replace the UVB bulbs for the kids. I'm looking for a recommendation. When we first bought bulbs, we really didn't know enough to make a good decision. To recap our set-up, we have a 125 gal aquarium with a 12" sq basking platform at each end. The turtles are a RES & Peninsula Cooter, both about 4".

Compact flourescent is a necessity I'm leaning towards the Reptisun bulbs but am uncertain if 5.0 or 10.0 and 13w or 26w is the best option.

Thanks for any light (pun intended) you can shed on this.

If it's the compact, I would get the 10.0 as you can easily move it further away from the basking area. As for 13w/26w, I think that just refers to the brightness.
