Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I've noticed that my turtle isn't shedding his scutes or shedding them normally or half shedded, I know that it has nothing to do with basking/temperatures, because he basks daily mulitple times, for hours at a time under a 95 degree halogen heat lamp. So I think it has something to do with his diet, particularly calcium or vitamins, What foods can my turtle have that will supply a good amount of calcium/ vitamins that will help his shell go through its natural process of shedding?

Anecdotally there have 2 diet options to help with shedding... blueberries and wheat germ (an ingredient in koi pellets). Long, uninterrupted basking probably helps the most.
