Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Please help! My turtle is around 14 years old and the weather is very cold lately, around 9C or 10C. I have a uvb light on the basking dock and a heater submerged in water. I suspect that the basking dock is not hot enough but i googled and saw adult turtle can withstand very cold weather. My turtle won’t stop sleeping on the dock, I am afraid he will catch a cold. Today I saw he spent most day on the dock and doesn’t leave and also taking nap there. Also I notice that he has pink skin around his legs. Which seems odd to me. Is he okay? What do I do about it?

The light pink coloring around the webbing is pretty normal. Are you taking temperatures of the water and basking area?
