Hi im lisa and i have a little girl red eared slider that is approximately 5 months old. Last year we had two large dinner plate size turtles cross our yard. Then this past October a tiny, 1 1/4" baby turtle just appeared on my patio. We took her in and she has become a family member now. Her name is LTM (little trouble maker) she is Truely funny and loves getting into a mess in her aquarium. She has grown very quickly and is really the reason i found this site. Oct 3, 2020 she was 1 1/4". Now alittle less than 4 months later she is about 3 3/4". Is that a normal growth rate??

Welcome to the forum! While they can grow quickly, I do think that shes growing a little too fast. If her shell isn't relatively smooth or the seams between scutes seem large, then I would say that was the case. It's usually a good idea to fed less than you think you need to.
