Good for you and your little turtle! That's a very important first step!

If the one turtle is a little pig, best keep a close eye on them and make sure the aggressive one doesn't get all the food. You may need to separate them for feeding to make sure the shyer one gets his/her fair share.

Yeah, I started hand feeding my 2 big girls for the same reason. Squirt is a pig and Crush didn't get anything. Now they both get exactly how much I want them to.

OMG Garydenness! That is hilarious!!!! Looks like you have ONE piglet that is more interested in the BAG than the food! My Tobi tries to latch on to the food can lid when I feed her! Its too funny! Thanks for sharing the vid.:)

Hope you dont feed them that much everyday?! That looks like a TON of food!

They are beautiful and your set up in great too! They seem happy:)

LOL, that videos awesome!!

by hand feeding tho, i meant that they take it from my fingers, one pellet at a time, lol. the diving into the bag for food is pretty funny tho.

There are actually seven of them in the pool, although the other four are younger and smaller and wait till I go away before feeding! The savage bad attacking one is Bob, the leader of the gang. I don't know why he does it, but he always wants to bite food bags. His latest trick is hunting woodlice that live in a hollow branch that floats in the water....tis very comical! He;s really very placid and friendly with me though!
