All I know is I have stuff growing in the back yard (peppers, tomatoes, corn, cherry radishes, icicle radishes, romaine lettuce, green onions, and carrots) so hopefully my turtles will be getting the freshest radish leaves and lettuce possible

Thanks for all the advice. Since i live in a rented townhouse with strict garden guidelines, I'm pretty sure that I cannot grow my own lettuce at the moment.
I'll have to try to find a refrigerator box like "lotsofpets" had referred to. Staying fresh a whole month is amazing!! :-)

Thanks again everyone!

For lettuce, I don't wash it until I'm ready to use it---it will last longer that way. If I get a head of lettuce that's wet from being sprayed, I try to dry most of it before putting it in the fridge. Most lettuce I buy gets stored in plastic bags, and I replace them if necessary (if there's excess moisture). And I do have a special box similar to what lotsofpets mentioned that I keep other types of veggies in. It has holes that can be opened or closed to adjust the amount of air allowed inside---different veggies keep longer depending on the amount of air they're exposed to (or not).
