Feeding and Nutrition :: Bad worms?

I just got some more mealworms from the petstore and about half of the are black or have really dark spots. Is there anything wrong with them? Should I take them back?

The last batch I got they all looked normal.

Don't feed those to your animals. they are rotten. When I buy worms I always open the container up first to make sure they are healthy.,

I wouldn't feed them to you turtles just to make sure
