naw, if anything, the fish's life was threatened when you put it in your turtles tank lol.

Hey Chibi,

We have two tanks with "bottom feeders", and we were worried about the turtles eating them. What we did, first we purchased a fish large enough for the turtles not to swallow whole. Second we took the turtles out of the tanks for a bit and introduced the fish to the tank. We put the turtles back in and everything is fine.

Also make sure your turtles are well fed, when they're hungry they get restless and they will search for some juicy morsels....and crayfish are $2 lobster dinners for turtles (man, experience is expensive).

Be advised, most things that enter the tank become food-- sooner or later. IF the fish is too large to eat at once don't think the turtles won't just take chunks out for a quick meal, in my opinion that must be worse than becoming a quick meal.
You can add fish if you want, just don't be too discouraged when your feeder fish is MIA ni a week :-)

Yeah we have just been very lucky. I don't know why our turtles haven't gobbled up our fish.
