i notice that radish leaves are on the okay to feed list, but what about the actual radishes? i hate them, and my boyfriend's not a huge fan of them either. i would hate to let food go to waste if i don't have to.
The menagerie: 1 cat//1 pleco////1 glass fish//2 snails//2 ghost shrimp//4 red ear sliders//5 tetras//5 guppies

Then I would use something else. Red leaf/green leaf lettuce is very good for them and you.

Funny you should ask that! I was thinking the same thing tonight! My local produce store had mix and match green onions and radishes for 2/88cents if you can believe it! We got one of each, and we've been using the radishes on salads, and I've given Ralph a few of the leaves. (I just thought he might be getting tired of lettuce)

they get the lettuce, i bought the radishes so they'd have more variety in their leafy greens. my boyfriend and i aren't going to eat the actual radishes, my cat's not into veggies period, and i just don't like wasting food. i wanted to see if the radish was okay to feed them, too.
