Why is it on the do-not-feed list, I read the nutritional facts and it said its really good for vitamin A.
Owner of 1 RES, He officially over 1 year old!

Spinach does contain vitamins. Unfortunately, it also contains a high level of oxalic acid, which binds with calcium prevents it from being absorbed by your turtle. Other leafy greens (especially dandelions) are much better for your turtle.

Agreed with what Marisa said.

Look for the "baby lettuce" mixes in the store (they have green & red lettuce in addition to dandelion greens mixed in!). I found that mix to have a nice variety of greens with NO spinach added. Plus, the leaves are softer so easier for them to bite/swallow. Both my turtles LOVE it!
