I have two baby RES I just got them a week and a couple of days ago. I have them living in a 10 gallon tank, and I have everything for them basking platform, water heater etc.. I watch my turtles swim around and sometimes one of them I think it is the female that charges at my male as if to bite him. This doesn't happen all the time I've only seen it 3 or 4 times since I've had them. They sleep close to one another. Is this a fight over territory? Will my female stop acting like this?

Red ear sliders can get very aggresive. You should separate them if they don't get along with each other.Oh and You should at LEAST have a twenty gallon tank if you have two hatchlings. The rule is 10 gallon per inch

How big are your turtles? Chances are there isn't enough "space" for both of the turtles. They probably are having territorial issues. Best solution, get a bigger tank.

Hatchlings can display such behavior without it really meaning anything (just something they do). But, given the fact that you've got two of them in a small tank, keep in mind that they're going to need a bigger tank soon (if they don't already). If the behavior becomes more frequent, you'll need to separate them before one gets hurt. But think about getting a bigger tank now, to minimize potential problems.

I think I read somewhere that the females are more agressive I'm just assuming.

Turts can be aggresive no matter what sex they are. You can only tell what their sex is after 4 inches, and by physical characteristics, such as the tail and the claws.
