Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I was reading about shrimp. Can the baby turtles have shrimp more often? I have been feeding my babies of a combo of pellets, shrimp and trying veggies. They are about 1 1/2". This doesn't seem like much variation in their diet.
Thanks

I would focus more on variety when it comes to veggies. The pellets should be offered daily until 6 months to a year (your choice), then move to every other day. Veggies should be offered daily and in a variety...different kinds of lettuce (not iceberg), dandelions, tomatos, red and green pepper, etc. Shrimp and fruits can be offered, but should be considered treats, one to two times a month.
