Hi, from Alaska.

We have two RES, one male and one female. My son named the male Donny (surprise!), and the female is named Pig - which is rather fitting.

Donny is timid and rather innocent, while Pig is hyper, dominant, AND always pushing Donny out of the way.

Anyways, just wanted to hop in and say hello. It will either be Mr. AlaskanTurtle or Mrs. AlaskanTurtle typing. We will try to distinguish who is communicating with the turtle emoji's at the end.

Hello and welcome,

My Piggley 5" male RES may want a date with your girl Miss Pig.
Any photo's ?
What size are both ?
Depending on size / sex you understand the day is coming to separate them !
Know sex for sure ?

Yes, we have photos and will try to post some here later this after noon. They are on my wife's phone.

We are positive on their sex. My guess on size is about 5" for both, and understand the day is coming. I need to build a bigger tank early next year since the lady at PETCO sold my wife the wrong size tank.

I just finished building a quick basking platform last night. It needs a couple more adjustments, but feel starting later today they will be able to properly bask - finally.

Sorry it has been a while. I didn't forget about the pictures! This was my final semester and Chemistry was brutal.

Anyways, here are some pictures.

Thought I could upload more than one at a time.

This is the platform I built. Sadly it was too big and only goes in the tank every other day till I can figure something else out.

Chemistry was fun , at least some fifty something years ago.

Think you can upload 5 pic's at a time if you resize them to about 800x800 each. See you figured it out while I was looking at them.

Look's good !
