Bet you feel much better and Sedge too !
The hidden question is still "why" all this started !
To me turtles as they get older they feel thing's differently. You know how I am so give me little break please I'm old. With several other post on this subject I made a change and Piggley is basking a little longer. Yes he has very large basking area with wide range of temps BUT this winter he normally goes in one area with the temp there at 89*. Instead of keep changing from 25 , 50 ,75 watt supplemental heat bulbs for the winter I got a dimmer. It allows me to fine tune one degree at a time for the best temp Piggley's looking for.
https://www.lightingdirect.com/lutron-t ... r/p1856851I just like having more control over the temps ! I keep the 75 watt in fixture if I would ever need to go that high and tone it down with dimmer to what Piggley likes best at the time. Who knows may modernize and go thermostat control on the basking area ?
You know Piggley and me , we are a perfect match in our quirky ways , and are happy together !
