Hello, I'm new to this site I work as a petcare specialist at Petsmart and I have recently opened up my home to my RES Koopa. I'm having trouble telling if he has shell rot or if he is shedding his scutes, I was able to peal part of it up so I believe he's shedding. I just need to be assured, thank you!!

Welcome to the forum! How does the shell look underneath? If it's dark green/brown and firm, it's usually normal. Post any pictures of the areas you have concerns.

The shell looks OK, you might need to cut down on the pellets/protein. How much are you feeding him?
