Taking care of your turtle's overall health.

Hi there!

I'll be moving in a couple of days, the trip will take about 2 hours or less. Can I put Link in a plastic container with a wet cloth and air holes poked in the top of the cover? Soon as I reach my destination I will be able to put her in a small tank while I set up her larger one. Would this be ok for a trip of this time frame?

Being a short trip a plastic container or a cardboard box works , no water , he will be ok. Just use a cloth or paper towels to line it there will be #1 and #2 !
I have also been told put turtle in a cotton pillowcase then in box , like a snake in a bag causes less stress? Not a polyester .

I'd opt for a cardboard box too. If there is room, she'll try to get out and her face will rub against the plastic. The cardboard will be a little less abrasive. Use a liner like litefoot suggests, it will be pretty icky in there. If you want her to go to sleep quickly, the pillowcase thing will work if it keeps them dark and constrained. A 2 hour trip should be fine though.
