Try doing it overnight, let him sleep while the cream does its work. In the morning clean any residue off and put him back into the tank.

So this is the plan i drew out for him.
1. Allow his shell to be completely dry for 1-1.5 hours.
2. Apply the cream on his shell
3. Leave overnight for almost 8 hours.
4. Scrub off slightly and put him back to water.

Is this okay?

Sounds good (and similar to what I did). Just remember that you only need to use a small amount and work it in. Your turtle will be a little slippery in the morning, use caution when handling.

Depends, this should work quickly. If after 3-4 treatments and there is no improvement, then I would consider something else.

I did it for two days..and there is kind of a white coating in his right side of the shell..and his patterns became a little more visible and vivid..could it be calcium deposit ? i couldnt do the treatment for about 3 to 4 days..should i start from the beginning ?

Looks pretty dramatic, no? The right side could be where the infection started.
