Hello, I have a fairly young res (under a year old) that I've had for 6 months. His shell is about 3 inches long, and he is currently in a 50 gallon tank that has a double filter, 72 degree water temp, and a floating turtle dock. There are a few goldfish and a sucker fish with him that he had been living with quote harmoniously this past half year. He's active, eating, basking and swimming. Last week i noticed that his one front foot/claw is milky white or almost faded in color compared to his other 3. I thought it might be some shedding skin, but it has not changed. Today, I tried rubbing it gently with a cotton swab, but nothing came off or changed. It does not seem to fit the descriptions or pictures I've seen for fungal infections. I'm getting concerned and would appreciate some advice! Should I try the saltwater baths or sulfa dips? Or should I give it more time to see what happens. Thank you in advance!

It does look a bit odd. Does he bask normally? Does he bite that foot?

Yes, normal basking, and I haven't seen him biting it

It looks swollen in that last picture. I'd have a vet check it out... could be fungal or worse. If its fungal, it might be treated simply.

It's not swollen. It's the same size as his other foot. Must be an illusion. I'll try a fungal treatment before I take him to a vet because The closest one to me is over an hour away! I'll post my results here
