I have 2 yellow belly sliders who just had their vet checkup and are doing great except they wont sun? I have a 30 gallon tank for two small YBS about the size of an American 50 cent piece.... they use to sun every day but now just swim all day...I have a 90 watt bulb right above their dock with a UVB bulb too!

Can you post a picture of your setup? It's kind of frustrating when they won't or stop basking, and I get that same feeling sometimes. Some more info here: http://www.redearslider.com/basking.html

Here is the setup...UVB and heat lamp bulb is 90 watt temp is 90 bulbs are about 6 to 8 inches from dock

I'd probably move it away from the filter but also add something temporarily to cover the sides. Maybe some cardboard on the outside?
