Habitat - Indoor :: Did-It-Myself ATBA Questions....

Turtle tank setups and other indoor configurations.

Hey guys, it's been a bit!! Hope all of your turtles are doing awesome.

Down to business, I order some cut acrylic sheets and made an ATBA so my red ears can enjoy the entire tank and then some, instead of just part of it.

I dont know if my ramp is not the correct material or angle. It is egg crate and it seems like it really would be an angle they can both get up.

I only built and put in on the tank yesterday and still no sign of use. They had a floating dock before hand. I was also thinking that it may be too much exposure being translucent.

Any suggestions for enticing them to use it? Or any suggestions in general? I will post pictures momentarily.

Looks good! I'd try to entice them up there with some food a few times, so they know it's safe. You might also need to line it with something, incase they don't like the material. If the uvb tube secured?
