Urgent Care :: 2 months old RES not eating its pellets

I have a 2 months old red ear slider which is eating only and only shrimps and nothing else! I've tried feeding a slice of banana it ate a small piece of it and started rejecting it I read that pellets are important for them and shrimps must be given as a treat. I am trying the tough love diet i havent gave him anything for the past 3 days and still not eating its pellets! He is trying to eat the rocks (they're not small) and still rejecting the pellets

Try mixing the pellets with the shrimp or dip the pellets into some water from canned tuna. If you have a separate feeding container, you may want to use it as it will foul up the water quicker.

If he's was previously eating everyday, I would keep with the tough love for a few more days.
