Hello. new to the forum. i'm excited to hear and learn from you all.
I've had a pair of RES ( male and female) for over 8 years in an outside pond. recently the male turtle died, it seems it was attacked by some critter. My question is regarding the female. has anyone had any experience whether she'd be ok being alone, or whether getting her another companion would be a good idea. would my female be too territorial and not welcome a new male? should i get a female?
Any advice, or anecdotal experience would be very welcome.
