This kind of parasites are chronic? The vet told me that maybe the turtle will keep them forever because it's almost imposible to get rid of them completely, and we'll have to control the number with periodical checks and dewormings.

It's curious how they created the problem telling me to feed her fish, and now they say that I will have to follow a permanent treatment with them. It makes me think badly about it.

It depends on the type. If the parasite is fish-related, it's possible it won't be able to thrive in your turtle. Fish are a common treat used by turtle keepers, it's too bad the feeder fish are usually not well cared for. Where did you get yours from and what kind was it?

It's true, that's why I didint want to feed my turtle feeders, I've read that they contain parasites and are treated in very crowded and poor conditions with only a bit of oxygen..
Fish keeper & Turtle know it all... Ish
