Feeding and Nutrition :: My Red ear slider does not eat

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Post Posted: Sun Mar 20, 2016 2:46 pm   My Red ear slider does not eat

I have a RES 5 months old
until last week had an enormous appetite but the last 5 days eats almost nothing
The normal diet is freeze dried shrimp and some pellets bought from the local pet shop
I also tried some tuna from can (without salt or olive of course) and some boiled chicken breast (normally loves these snacks ) w/o success.
The turtle seems Ok at least there are not visible problems
The local veterinarian cannot help (knows only about dogs and birds) and the pet shop owner also cannot help
any advice is welcome

So the first problem is that the water isn't consistent.. 26C would be good for a hatchling.
