Hi everyone one!
I just adopted two RES off of kijiji. One (I believe is male) is around 3 inches shell wise, and the one I believe to be female is around 5 inches and has scoute going on. They were in a 5-8 gallon tank when I got them! Needless to say they have horrible pyramid shells and a few other issues. I've up graded them to a 70 for now and will be upgrading them again soon. It's been a few decades since I've owned RES turtles so I appreciate and look forward to everyone's advice as I try and get these poor things to a healthier state.
I know this is not the place for questions so I will post pictures (once they have settled in a bit more) and numerous questions in the appropriate forums.
