Feeding and Nutrition :: Freeze dried crickets?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

The platform is zoo med turtle dock. It hasn't arrived yet. Hopefully soon! It's the only thing I've found so far that will work! It's like they just don't think about large turtles. Everything is made for babies!

Also I noticed today that Noah has a bit of pink coloring on his right "shoulder" and a small bit on his neck. it doesn't look super bad or anything but I'll be keeping a close eye on it. I have some repto guard and some "turtle fix" but I didn't want to use them unless absolutely necessary. Any ideas or advice about this?

Can turtles get a sunburn???

You don't want to trim it. I'm generally not a fan of that dock either.

Can you post a picture of the pink area? Pink is sometimes normal... could be a little bacteria.

Well, I'm not a huge fan of the dock either!! It arrived broken!! Ugh!!
Now I wonder why the one in the store looked so much better?

Noah's skin was looking better yesterday. Haven't checked today since he's currently basking. I don't want to disturb him. But if I see it again I will take a photo for sure!

You might want to give the cork a try if you haven't found a replacement.

You should be able to return it depending on where you got it from it should be free return shipping. I don't think the Zoo med docks are that bad. They are small and turtles could get stuck between the rods with suction cups and the glass I never experienced any problems.

Guess I should have just paid full price at Petco rather than buying online! Anyway, going to look at the zoo med docks again next time I go back to Petco. It just seems the one in the store was of so much better quality!

I emailed both Zoo med and the online store so hopefully one of them will respond soon!

Shouldn't be a problem getting a replacement.

You were right! Both Zoo med and the online store have offered to replace it! Yay! :)
