Hi guys,
I have 2 Red eared slider in my tank for the past year and now they are big enough to go in my outdoor pond i have.
So i really want a log inside my pond because its very natural or some kind of a big rock for them to bask on but i dont know where im gonna get it from, people told that i cant just go pick up a log from the street or the woods because it will dirty and ruin my pond water quality.
Can you please guide on how can i make them a nice basking area? Thanks :)
And maybe some advices on how to care for them outside?
(pond measurments in meters: 3Wide x 2Lengh x 0.6 Deep. it has a waterfall , koi and goldfish And water plants )

You can get driftwood from florists, hobby shops and aquarium/reptile shops. You might also find some on by the ocean or lakes but you will need to throughly clean it and it might be illegal to take. You can make your own, but the process does take some time... here are choices for wood:
