I'll definitely update you in a few days to let you know how she is doing! After reading through some of the posts I see that I may need to lower my water temperature. I am not sure how to do this because my water heater is pre-set. Do they make ones that aren't preset? I will try taking it out and see what the temperature of the water is without the heater. I also see that I may need to change my rock basking platform, but I'm not quite ready to give that up yet. I really like the natural look and I actually have one huge rock that makes up most of it and the other half of the basking platform is a zoomed floating log that I made stationary (I can get away with it for now because Lucy can fully rotate 360 degrees in the log with plenty of room to spare). I took the calcium block out and syphoned the water today while she was soaking in the Cholrahexaderm so the tank got about a 25% water change (hoping to eliminate the water conditioner that wasn't needed). I showed the Vet pics of the tank and the light it gets from the window and he said that the light was fine and he preferred that she have the light coming into her tank (I asked him if I should should close the blinds to the window behind her). What is a veggie clip? I have not heard of that yet. I saw the advice about soaking lettuce in tuna and tried that earlier today with no luck. Maybe as she gets better the tuna smell may entice her... Thank you so much for all your advice!!! This is such a great site!!!

Usually the cheapest ones are pre-set at 78, what does the temperature get to? Eheim Jager, Hydor are good and adjustable heaters. I would get rid of rocks as a substrate. Use sand if you want to have something in there. Any glass or closed window will filter out any useful UVB. Its like that by design. It will also heat up a small tank too much. A veggie clip is a small plastic clip w/suction cup... check the fish section of a pet store.
