What would you recommend using to bond some Plexiglas panels together?

I've got a design I think I'm settled on and will start some work tonight. I'll start a separate build thread in the Indoor - Habitat discussion area, where we can talk some more if you want.

Thanks for the help Steve and Kansasslider!

Tap plastics actually sells glue made for bonding plexi. You don't really glue plexi you actually bond it together. If you use it the work will never come appart.

Ah!! Just what I've been looking for! Thanks Kansasslider

Would it be safe to use on pieces that may be submerged?

Have you ever seen the tv show tanked? Its the same thing they use to build large tanks.. Its thin like water so you will need to buy a little application bottle . They cost a couple bucks. Tap plastics has how to vids on their web site. They are really good vids about working with acrylic.

I have been looking into over the top basking but due to my 125g 72-1/2" x 18-1/2 x 23-3/8 tank being a fish tank most common things are not made for my tank...but I did fin a over the top penthouse from bigapple but it's $470.00 + shipping and no use of the left upper side and I will lose my UVB LIGHTS

I found a fish tank frame replacement company for $86.00 I got top and bottom frames 72" L x 12-1/2" W they are built to hold 1/2" glass
I will be able to have both my 36 " uvb lights on the back of bottom tank. I have been go back and forth what do I want in the upper dry tank....half wet half dry or a egg hatchery and dry. Also I have not decided if I will go with glass at all

Why put UVB lights below the penthouse (or am I misunderstanding)? Instead of glass, consider acrylic, but that also depends if you want to place things on top of the penthouse.
