I have a hatchling in which someone did not want and they brought it to me. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on getting it to eat? I hope it comes around and eats soon. Also how often and how much should it eat.

Welcome to the forum! The forum has lots of info regarding feeding. Just feed pellets, amount that fits inside head once a day and have some red leaf lettuce floating around, maybe he'll eat when your not looking, mine eats when I look away! lol. My hatchling is always begging for food so just stick to a feeding schedule. Go look at some old post in this section and read up on what other people are feeding.

Try some live prey, like minnows. Hold it by the tail and let it wiggle in front of his face.
