Feeding and Nutrition :: Bananas?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

I had my turtle out and she was on the couch with me. I was eating a banana and I didn't realize she came up that close to me. Normally she will go on my chest and go to sleep but this sneaky little one took a bite out of my banana. Is this ok? She seems fine, but I'm just nervous

That's fine. Some people give bananas as intentional treats!

I wish I could just chill on the couch with my turtle like that. I should train her.

That would be interesting if we could train her. She's just always done it. I think she likes feeling my heart beat.
