My res is not eating.

How big is your turtle? 5 inches
How long have you had it? 1 1/2 years

What is the water temperature? 78
Did you use a thermometer? yes
Are you using a water heater? yes
How much water is in there? 52ish gallons
Are you using a water conditioner? no--use a filter to put water in
Are you using any filtration? yes Cascade canister filter

What is the basking temperature? 90-95
Is there a basking light? yes
Is there a basking platform that is easy to climb on? yes
What kind is it or what is it made out of? Husband made it--plexiglass, tiles, fake grass
Is there a UVB light? yes

What have you been trying to feed it? Same as always, zoo med natural aquatic turtle food and red leaf lettuce
When was the last time your turtle ate? 2 days ago

How big is the tank/pond/enclosure? 55 gallons
Is the tank near a window? no
Is the tank in a room with a lot of activity? at times

Have you read the Basic Care section? yes
Have you searched the forums for similar situations? yes--hard to find out info doing a search for not eating--lots showing up but unable to find a post similar to my situation

Is there any other unusual activity/symptoms? Not been as active, sits on shelf in the water under basking area where heat lamp is, has been basking, but not as much, no noticible problems swimming.

any ideas on what might be causing priscilla to not eat. Not sure about sex of turtle. lol

Sometimes in the fall their appetite shows down because of weather changes. Also, they only need to eat every other day at your turtles size. Try a different veggie. ..mine flip for red bell peppers.

Just offered meal worms she ate two and wants more. She seemed to be begging this morning for food, but did not eat any of the pellets.

Are you dusting the worms? Maybe they'll offer her a bit more nutrition until she gets back to normal.
