@Frosty Liu - try it with aquarium plants... it can live and serve as decoration in the tank, as well as absorbing waste.
@Rocky_n_Iggy - a veggie clip seems to help when they are reluctant. Pellets are designed to be the only thing fed, and are a better choice than say a fish-only diet.

If you feed your turtle the proper amount of pellets yes. But it's nice if they start eating veggies to help reduce the begging. Have to be really careful with pellet only diet to ensure it's not growing to fast
Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada

Turtle: RES about 6-8months old
Tank Mates: Mystery Snails, Peacock Eel, 2 cichlids
Habitat: 55 gal, UVA & UVB lighting, Live Plant and high volume filter
Diet: Pellets, jello shots (wont eat veggies :()
