Okay so about a week ago i was looking at my turtles checking if they where OK with their shell.
i looked under their shells and saw pink lines didn't think much of it.
then yesterday i looked again and saw it turned more pink i got a bit scared so that's why I'm on here.
i don't know whats causing this. i feed them once per day not a lot.
and they get great heat from their basking area.
the water is nice and good for them 70-80 degrees.

i also had place sand in there could that be it?
should i remove it?

There was a similar post about a year ago. I can't find it now. In that post someone who raises turtles commented that this will sometimes happen with young turtles.

I also saw it in my son's RES at one point.

If there are no other signs of illness like much lowered activity or not feeding, I'd just keep a close watch on them. Likely, you have nothing to worry about. If there are other symptoms, though, please post back.

Yea its normal, while growing new growth is not completely hard and you can see blood supply causing the pinkish tint. Once the new growth hardens it goes back to being solid yellow.

Don't use that Reptomin stuff too much. Refer to the feeding guidelines here: http://www.redearslider.com/pellets.html BUT use a little less. It's almost always better to use less pellets than you think.

Fast growth can sneak up on new owners. If possible, use some carbon in your filter instead of a water conditioner.

How big is your turtle? If still small, it's normal.
