Feeding and Nutrition :: What to feed the turtle?

Hi! My turtles name is Dezzy he's about 1 1/2- 2 inches
(he's a red ear slider) and I was wondering what type of vegetables
I could feed him and how much he can have. Also any recommendations
On pellet food? Currently I'm using wardly. And I'm wondering if that's
Not good enough for him. It doesn't have much vitamin D.

I feed mine mazuri turtle pellets with green leaf lettuce 4 times a week. Mazuri pellets are really well formulated for a balanced diet, and its also cost effective if bought in bulk

^^Where did you find mazuri turtle pellets? I can only find the koi food.

Try carrots also mine love them. Slice them thin. In the wild they would eat a lot of fish, crayfish and snails.I fish a lot and can tell you they love raw fish!
