I built this 60 gallon tank last month for 4 red eared sliders (1.6 inch, 1.8 inch, 2.9 inch and 3.4 inch)

Looks nice. One of the RES has very thick black seams, and that is an indication of very fast growth. You should reevaluate what he's been getting.

There is a post here where someone modifies it to fit into a larger tank, so I wouldn't completely rule it out.
