My 15ish year old res is suddenly acting very different. He's normally extremely active and constantly swimming around, foraging or basking but for the past entire day and last night he's just been sleeping or lying underwater looking very confused, even for a turtle.
There are several factors that could be a part of this but i am unsure of which is most likely.

I cleaned his tank yesterday morning. I moved his filter for a few hours to a 5g aquarium. I used it to begin the cycle process of the aquarium.
Is something weird in the filter now?

I've been feeding him a lot of grapes lately. This is not a normal part of his diet but he seems to enjoy them so I've been spoiling him...
Grapes = A no go for an unfamiliar res?

Also, Yesterday I put 4 feeder fish in his tank. This is only the second time I've done this since I've owned him. At first he wouldn't stop chasing them. He didn't catch any of them but I wonder if they could have transmitted some sort of illness OR if he strained/injured himself while violently chasing them. He looks ok in a physical sense. Its just his behavior that's odd.
Even just now, as I'm typing this. Hes lying on the bottom of his tank and a feeder is sitting about 2 inches directly in front of his face and all he is doing is watching... :(

It's hard to say... I would think it's more likely he strained/injured himself than those other suggestions. It's not unusual for a turtle to act differently for a few days. If there are no visible injures and he is alert, then I would continue to keep a close eye on him. Maybe bump up the water temps a little too.

I've pretty much ruled out all but eating grapes made him feel like [----] and he's tired and old. Today he seems quite a bit more normal. It was such a sudden lack of energy coupled with varying abnormal factors that worried me a little.
Grapes are definitively not a staple and actually, I think they tore him up a bit because I found some nasty partially digested grapes on the bottom of his tank and removed them immediately.
It's pretty warm in his tank. I don't use ac so I unplugged his heater. It's constantly about 80-83.

I haven't used grapes before, but I think you're on the right track. Hope he makes a full recovery.
