Hey there! So I have 2 Red Ear Sliders. Speedy is a little over a year old, and Sticky is a few months old.
They're both healthy and strong, but Sticky concerns me a bit. :?

Okay so for some reason Sticky likes to eat skin. Whenever he's shedding he'll try to eat his own skin, and he's always trying to get close to Speedy in order to eat his. Today, Sticky accidentally bit Speedy's neck when trying to eat the loose skin floating on it.

I try to even out their diets and feed them what I feel they need. I've done a lot of research on what red ear sliders need to eat and what is bad for them. Sticky is always begging for food. He's always trying to eat everything new like the thermometer and rocks... ^^;; I don't want to overfeed him, because obesity is a bad thing... :|

Is it okay if he's eating Speedy's skin? It worries me a lot when he accidentally bites Speedy, but Speedy has never been cut by it. Speedy is also too nice... Even though Sticky is smaller than him, he lets him get away with just about everything.

Even though shedding is normal, and biting at it is normal, it sounds like they are shedding excessively. What's the water temp, water volume, filtration, etc. like?
