Feeding and Nutrition :: Is my turtle food OK?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Hi everyone! New here :D
I have a RES and I have been wondering if does it get all it's required nutrients from the food I feed him/her? I feed my turtle krill. I know that you have to provide a varied diet for your turtle, but people in my country don't know much about turtle keeping and often, in most Pet Stores, it isn't kept properly and the pet store owners give bad advice on them. For example, they sell these little guys in really small containers, the plastic yellow ones, you know, and at the pet store they are kept in a 20G tank, but A LOT of them, like 100 turtles in a 20Gallon tank and the water is WHITE lol...
So, what I want to say is that I can't find the best food for my turtle in my Pet Stores, that's why I'm asking your help. I'm daily giving him krill. What else can I do to provide my little friend with proteins, vitamins, etc? I'm willing to do anything that I can, like feed him vegies or what?
Here's a picture of my RES :).

here says
Use rarely (Not a staple)
Krill (Shrimp-like invertebrate)
This is my food. Not this brand, but this is what it contains? Are these krill or not? I'm confused... Or are these " red shrimp ", just as labeled? If so, is it ok to feed these to my RES?

They are krill, so you shouldn't use them as a dietary staple.

If you can't find turtle pellets in your pet store, maybe you can try on line. Reptomin, Mazuri, Nutrafin, Wardleys. In addition to a quality turtle pellet (which is their protein source) feed leafy greens daily. Red leaf lettuce, green leaf lettuce, romaine, dandelion leafs, no spinach or broccoli. Krill should only be fed as an occasional treat. Most pet store people don't know enough about turtles.

Maybe if you show them this thread and the nutrition thread that was linked for you they'll understand. If you're going to have a pet you might as well take care of it properly. They wouldn't feed you candy as a staple food, would they? That would be unhealthy for you, the same with using krill for a staple food. What is satycorn vegetables? They need fresh leafy greens.

Can you order online? Maybe you can locate a local herp/reptile organization, zoo or veterinary school.
