Feeding and Nutrition :: Pellet Question

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Hi guys I have a quick question on turtle pellets. Right now my turtles are eating Tetra ReptoMin. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the following pellets as I would like to try a few different ones to see which they like the most.
I've found the following at the local pet stores:

Zoo Med Aquatic Turtle Pellets
Nutrafin Max Turtle Food
King British Turtle and Terrapin complete food
Wardleys Reptile TEN (Total Essential Nutrition)
Modern Jungle Aquatic Turtle Pellets
Nature Zone Aquatic Turtle Bites
Flukers Aquatic Turtle Diet
Rep-Cal Aquatic Turtle Food
T-Rex Aquatic Turtle/Terrapin Food

Oh and I don't just feed them pellets it's just the staple of their diet. They also get various veggies each day. I just wanted some honest opinions on those pellets as I would like to try something different than the ReptoMin.

I prefer Nutrafin Max. I get the stuff that's fortified with extra calcium and D3.

At one time or another, from the list you gave, I've used the Zoo Med, Reptomin, and Nutrafin pellets.

For my RES, I'm currently using Mazuri and the Rep-Cal pellets (the latter mentioned above). My painteds get Reptomin Baby alternated with Hikari pellets and Jurassi Diet on occasion. I may be switching them to the pellets my RES gets when I run out.

Does anyone have any experience with the Zoo Med or Flukers turtle food? How would you rate them?

I have zoomed here.. I use it alternately with the Reptomin. My turtles don't like it as much as they are harder to chew, but they aren't as high in protein and otherwise are comparable to the Reptomin. :)

You could buy a few, just for variety. (Of the ones you listed, the Wardley's would be last on my list to get.)

Kudos , ellman605-

I also use wardleys. And my 5 sliders LOVE it! I have to buy the biggest container that PETSMART sells.

yeah, that 14oz one for 14.99? i was going to get that, but i saved like, $0.77 with the smaller size on my pet perks card, only cost me like, $3.20 something like that :)

i also love wardly, i was going to get reptomin, but then when i went to get the smaller one, it was more expensive, and when i went to get the bigger one, it was less expensive, thats when i had to compare the backs -_-
