Yesterday we took our RES to the vet because he presented RI symptoms, the doctor then injected him and prescribed our turtle antibiotics. He was kind of vague on how to open its mouth in order to give him the medicine. Can anyone give us instructions on how we can do this without hurting our turtle?
-Thank You!

It should have been demonstrated at the time. Perhaps if you were to keep it in front of his face as to agitate him. What kind of medicine is it? Can it be given with food?

I had to give my turtle some medicine the first time she had eggs, it was a liquid of some sort. They gave me a syringe, I would put it infront of here and she would attack it because she is kinda aggressive. While she was clampped down on it i would slowly squizze the liquid into her mouth. She usualy swalled it, but i had to go slow cause some times she would let go and spit it out. It worked for the most part.
