Will the active carbon dilute or eliminate the water conditioner? Should I not put the active carbon back for the first day after changing the water? I'm using an internal filter that have 2 compartments. One is the coarse filter sponge and the other is the active carbon. I do find the active carbon helps with the odor and the water stay clear for longer. Anyone can help? Thanks.

I believe the water conditioner acts pretty quickly. Since you do not have any bio-media, I wouldn't worry about it.
