Feeding and Nutrition :: Buying turtle veggies?

Turtle diets and eating habits discussed here.

Is there some company out there that sells veggies for turtles in a container already? I tend to forget to go get my turtle veggies from the fridge, and would prefer to just give him his pellets and veggies at the same time.

Also, is there a vitamin for turtles out there that isn't a powder!? Thanks!

For the Vitamin part ide say get some Cuddle bone from the store. there like $1 a box. its those big white things people use for birds to peck at. here is what you have to do for those tho. here is a link for you about it.

also I dont think there are container'd veggies for turtles. just once in a while give them some collard greens (can buy in a plastic sealed bag from the grocery store), some Blue Berrys to make your turtle want to shed, and some Roman Lettuce that should be all you need. There are alot of other stuff they like too so here is another link for what you can feed them.

Mine were about the size of his when i first got mine and I would always offer Veggies. I think it is important to do this just because they like to pick stuff in a early age to what they want to eat. Like if you feed them nothing but fish and pellets, there probably not going to like veggies much at all. so ide suggest offering veggies allll the time. even if they dont eat it right htere let a big piece float in the tank and they will pick at it.

I heard that hatchlings don't usually go for veggies, but that you should offer them anyway so that they get a taste for them.
