Its been a long time since I've been to this forum!! I feel home again. =) Anyway, I bought my turtle some rose red minnows (something along those lines) and he starts to chase after them, and then swims away. Why won't he eat them?

Maybe he doesn't like the chase, or just lost interest in them very fast.

He could not like them or can't catch them and gave up.

So, my turtle finally killed one of the minnows, but didnt eat it. Whats up with that? Should I just take it out of his tank?

maybe he's just not intrested on eating them. my turtle refuses to eat lettuce all the time. itll turn brown after a few weeks and i have to throw them away. just keep introducing food to the turtle and maybe itll be able to eat them

If he doesn't eat it tonight you should take it out so it doesn't foul the water.

Some turtles really like to eat minnows and some don't. Different strokes for different turtles, I guess.

So, I came home from work to find that my turtle killed another fish and still didn't eat it. I just dont get it. Is there another type of fish he might like?

How big is your turtle? Is his mouth too small to get the fish in? And are you positive that your turtle kill it or did it die from some other cause?

I think there is a type of guppy you can try, a feeder one. Don't buy goldfish, they are too fatty. There are also shrimps and snails. Does your turtle eat like fish you cook and give him? Maybe he's like my one cat, she won't eat ANY table scraps, just her cat food.
