How do i put the reptitive powder on pellets and how much should i put i have a baby res

Also how long does it take for my turtle to get used to me ive had him for 4 days and if i peek on him i see hes swimming and basking and having fun, but then when i come into the room he freaks out and quickly swims to walls and boroughs under a rock, or goes in his little cave and never comes out

It usually takes a moth or two for RES to get used to your present, though they may still freak out at times. Adult turtles will freak out not as much.

The vitamin, I don't know. You'll have to wait till someone else with experience comes. Do you even put the reptivite on the pellets? I thought the vitamin supplement was for adding to foods with not that much nutrition such as crickets.

I use Reptivite. Sorry I didnt answer earlier. I just saw this topic right now. Okay, this is how to do it.

1. Moist the pellets a little.

2. LIGHTLY sprinkle the powder onto the pellets.

3. Let the pellets dry overnight in a closed container/ziplock bag, then feed in the morning.

Remember to not overdo it on the vitamin supplements, if anything use it atleast twice a week.

Some people say it isnt neccesary. But I personally feel like it is. If you want, then yes, just follow what I said on the above post.
