Anyone with a Fluval FX4 canister filter? Do you suggest using the media placement suggested by the manufacturer? Also there are two media bags that come with it - what would you suggest for those? TIA!

I suggest to buy carbon in bulk, then bag it yourself. If you use Purigen, buy the pre-bagged kind.
